Expertise

• Dr. Parin Patel’s expertise lies in performing head & neck cancer surgeries for oral cancer (tongue, lower jaw, upper jaw, cheek, and tonsils), thyroid, parathyroid and salivary glands with an aim of achieving good quality of life for patients after surgery.
• His special interest is in skull base surgery, especially Endoscopic and Compartmental Infratemporal Fossa surgery.
• Apart from this, Dr. Parin has performed various laryngeal surgeries for voice box cancers with good voice restoration after the removal of the voice box.

Training and Certifications

• He also has a Head & Neck Oncology fellowship from Rajkot Cancer Society Hospital.

Recognition

• He has been active in training fellows at HCG Cancer Centre, Ahmedabad, not only in surgical techniques but also for an evidence-based approach towards head & neck cancers. 
• He has completed Skull Base Oncology Fellowship from Tata Memorial Centre, Mumbai.
• Won gold medal in video of “Compartmental ITF clearance “ at FHNO conference Kolkata in 2019.
