Expertise

• Dr. Purvi Patel’s expertise lies in the multidisciplinary treatment of tumours of the head and neck region.
• She has special expertise in the surgical treatment of benign and malignant tumours of the mouth, throat (pharynx), voice box (larynx), thyroid, parathyroid, salivary glands, sinuses and skin cancer of the head and neck area. 
• Dr. Purvi Patel is also an expert in speech and swallowing rehabilitation.
• She has handled more than 2000 cases so far.

Training and Certifications

• Dr. Purvi has completed her fellowship in Clinical Research in Head & Neck Services from Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Centre, New York.
• She has also received her fellowship training in surgical oncology from Gujarat Cancer Research Institute, Ahmedabad.
• Dr. Purvi has completed her Global Online Fellowship for head and neck oncology, by IFHNOS (International Federation of Head and Neck Oncology Societies)

Recognition

• Dr. Purvi has attended a well-recognised ECCO-AACR-EORTC-ESMO workshop on methods in clinical cancer research at Flims, Switzerland in 2015.
• She has written many chapters in the cancer awareness book “Tame Ekla Nathi” as part of her commitment to society.
