Expertise

• Dr. Rasmi is a paediatric haemato oncologist and bone marrow transplant specialist.
• She has hands-on experience in stem cell transplants for various paediatric diseases like benign blood disorders, solid tumours and haematological malignancies as well as immunodeficiencies and metabolic disorders. 
• Dr. Rasmi has a keen interest in treating all the paediatric benign and all blood cancer diseases especially aplastic anaemia, sickle cell disease, thalassaemia, acute leukaemia, multiple myeloma, Hodgkin’s and non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, multiple sclerosis; myelodysplastic and myeloproliferative syndromes and other bone marrow failures cases.
• During her training, she conducted research on methods to improve stem cell engraftment after a bone marrow transplant.

Training and Certifications

• Dr. Rasmi completed her three-year residency in paediatrics from Texas Tech University, Amarillo, Texas (USA). 
• She has also received three-year fellowship training in paediatric haematology/oncology and bone marrow transplant from Rainbow Babies and Children's Hospital (Case Western Reserve University), Cleveland, Ohio (USA).

• She is a member of the Indian Academy of Paediatrics and the American Society of Paediatric Haematology and Oncology.
• She is also a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), American Society of Haematology (ASH) and American Academy of Paediatrics (AAP).
