Dr. Bala’s expertise lies in the surgical management of head and neck cancers, breast cancers, GI cancers, gynaecological cancers among many others.
He has a special interest in Minimal Access Cancer Surgeries (MACS).
Dr. Bala has handled more than 5000 cases so far.

Recognition

He is a teaching faculty (Assistant Professor, Surgical Oncology Department) at a reputed Medical College in Kolkata and a visiting faculty to Tripura Medical College, Agartala.
Dr. S K Bala is one of the very few surgeons in eastern India who performs minimal access cancer surgeries (MACS).
