• Prof. Dr. Krupasindhu Panda is one of Odisha's senior surgical oncologists.
• His main areas of interest include the cancers of the mouth, stomach and breasts.
• He attends more than 600 cases every year.

Training and Certifications

• Prof. Dr. Panda has undergone special training from multiple prestigious institutes in Mumbai, Delhi and MSKCC, New York and was awarded the Diwaliben Mohanlal fellowship for training in the USA. 
• He was also selected by UICC for ICCRT course in head and neck oncology at MSKCC in New York.

Recognition

• Prof. Dr. Panda has received many national & international awards, including the Global Achiever's Award on Health Excellence - 2014 (Dubai) and Asia Pacific Achiever's Award - 2014 (Tashkent), for his work on cancer care, over the years.
• To his credit, he has 52 papers and 8 books, and he has attended many national & international deliberations, symposia and panel discussions.
• He has also presented 3 papers at the Asia Pacific Cancer Conference in Singapore, 12 papers at UICC (Union International Cancer Control) Conference in New Delhi and one paper in Washington DC, especially on oral cancer and breast cancer. 
• His book, "Hand Book of Oncology", is a preferred book for medical students and practitioners.
