It was established in the year 2008. HCG – Abdur Razzaque Ansari Cancer Hospital is the first comprehensive cancer hospital in the regions of Jharkhand and Bihar to be equipped with two (02) major operation theatres, supported by one (01) minor OT.
The centre is a 100 bedded facility with 9 OPD chambers, five (05) day care beds and thirteen (13) ICU beds.
The ICU supports critical care management with a team of dedicated intensivists.
The centre houses an in-house pharmacy.
The centre also has a dedicated palliative care department to support symptom management among terminally ill cancer patients and help them have a better quality of life.
Lastly, the centre also has dedicated unit managers and helplines to make sure that all our patients’ cancer care needs are met, and they have a comfortable and seamless cancer journey.
