  • Dr. Ayan is an expert in managing the cancers of the head and neck region, lung and prostate, along with gynaecological cancers and brain tumours.
  • Dr. Ayan has vast experience in respiratory gating, volumetric arc therapy, IGRT, SRT, PET-based IGRT, IMRT, 3DCRT & Brachytherapy facilities.
  • So far, Dr. Ayan has handled more than 3000 cases.
Training and Certifications
  • Dr. Ayan has completed his Senior Registrarship from Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai.
  • He has received training in Stereotactic Radiosurgery at Clatterbridge Centre for Oncology, England.
  • Dr. Ayan has also undergone training in IGRT and Respiratory Gating from Rigs hospital in Copenhagen, Denmark.
  • Dr. Ayan has also undergone Helical Tomotherapy training at Heidelberg, Germany.
Recognition
  • Dr. Ayan Basu has commissioned and successfully established full-fledged radiation oncology facilities at two of the largest corporate hospitals with RapidArc VMAT, PET-based IGRT, IMRT, Respiratory Gating, 4DCT, and Integrated Brachytherapy Unit.  
  • He is a lifetime fellow of UICC.
