• He has always had a special interest in minimally invasive surgeries and trained to perform laparoscopic and robotic surgeries.

• Dr. Bharat has completed his Fellowship in Minimal Access Surgery (FMAS) from the Association of Minimal Access Surgeons of India.
• He has also completed his Fellowship in Advanced Laparoscopy (Upper GI Surgery) from the Indian Association of Gastro-Intestinal Surgery, Delhi, India.
• Dr. Bharat has completed his fellowship training in GI, HPB & thoracic oncosurgery from HCG Cancer Hospital, Ahmedabad.
• He has also completed his robotic surgery fellowship from HCG Cancer Hospital, Ahmedabad.
• He has received training for portal vein resection in borderline operable pancreatic cancers.
• He has received training in robotic console surgery and PIPEC surgery (for stage IV ovarian and colorectal cancers from premium institutes.
