• Dr. Brindha is the group head of psycho-oncology at HCG Cancer Centre.
• Dr. Brindha’s primary area of interest is adult & paediatric psychology and her secondary area of interest is preventive psycho-oncology.

• She is the recipient of multiple fellowships from prestigious institutions such as the National Cancer Institute, USA and the UICC, Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Centre and St. Jude Children’s Cancer Hospital & Research Centre.

• Dr. Brindha is the founder-Director of the Centre of Psycho-Oncology for Education & Research (COPER), Bengaluru.
• Dr. Brindha has authored Not Out: Winning the Game of Cancer, for which she received the Shresta Vaidyakiya Lekhana Prashasthi by Dr. P. S. Shankar Prathishtana, Gulbarga.
• She has also received the “Vocational Excellence Award for outstanding contribution and singular efforts in the field of Psycho-oncology” by Rotary Dist 3190 and Rotary Bengaluru East, Bengaluru.
