Expertise

• Dr. Siwillis is extensively trained in radiation therapy and chemotherapy for various cancers but has particular interest mainly in solid tumours of the breast, head and neck and gastrointestinal tract.
• She has worked for various hospitals including AIC Kijabe Hospital, Tenwek Hospital, HCG CCK Cancer Centre and Nakuru County Referral Hospital. She has been instrumental in instituting multidisciplinary meetings within the hospitals and streamlining patient care within oncology clinics.
• Dr. Siwillis is an advocate of quality and affordable cancer care for all patients.
• She has handled more than 1650 cases so far.

Recognition

• Dr. Siwillis has a special interest in research and has attended and presented papers at both local and international conferences and also has a number of publications to her name.
• She has played a key role in the rollout of National Cancer Screening and Treatment guidelines and has been very vocal in raising cancer awareness across Kenya through CMEs, health talks, clinical camps and TV shows.
