• Dr. G Amarnath is a senior consultant and clinical and radiation oncologist at HCG Cancer Center in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, having more than 27 years of expertise in the field.
• His expertise lies in administering high precision radiation therapy using 3D CRT, IMRT, IGRT, TrueBeam (FFF), TomoTherapy H and CyberKnife.
• Dr. G Amarnath has extensive experience in diagnosing and treating malignancies of the uterus, cervix, and head and neck.

Recognition

• Dr. G Amarnath is an active member of various societies like AROI, AMPI, IACR, ISNO, and the Indian Brachytherapy Society IMA.
• He was awarded the prestigious R A I MEMORIAL ORATION on 4th October 2015 by the Association of Radiation Oncologists of India Tamil Nadu and Pondichery Chapter, in recognition of his Services in Oncology (Cancer Service) both Clinical and Teaching. Dr. Amarnath is also a proud recipient of various awards in the field of oncology.
• Dr. G Amarnath has served as an editor for Madurai Medical Journal of IMA Madurai Meenakshi Branch (2006-2009), Brachytherapy News of Indian Brachytherapy Society, Communiqué of Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry Chapter of the Association of Radiation Oncologists of India (AROI). He is also a member of the editorial board for the AROI national newsletter.
• He has also authored a book on radiation therapy for Jaypee Publications, New Delhi.
