• Dr. Lakshmipathy is an experienced nuclear medicine specialist with more than 28 years of experience.
• He has vast experience in establishing nuclear diagnostic and therapy units, specialised in planar SPECT CT and PET-CT procedures and interpretation.
• His expertise lies in delivering nuclear medicine therapy with a myriad of isotopes, namely I-131, Sr-89.Lu-177, Y-90, etc.
• He started 4 major nuclear medicine units at various reputed hospitals in Chennai and two dedicated nuclear cardiology units in two prestigious cardiology institutes, namely Vijaya Hospital and Dr K M Cherian International Cardiovascular & Cardiothoracic Surgery, Chennai.

Recognition

• Dr. Lakshmipathy has organised numerous regional CME, workshops, national and international conferences in Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh & Tamil Nadu.
• He has published 25 scientific papers and contributed to two surgical Text books and wrote articles in snippets and magazines.
• He has presented papers in both national and international meetings, chaired many conferences and spoke in many webinars.
• Dr. Lakshmipathy has received the award of honour from Tamil Nadu and Puducherry Association of Urologists.
• He has got best paper award twice at the conferences held by the Society of Nuclear Medicine, India.
• He is the first person to head the first PET-CT of Tamil Nadu.
• He is a life member of various reputed associations, such as Society of Nuclear Medicine India, Nuclear Cardiological Society of India, Indian Medical Association, Indian Radiological & Imaging Association.
• He was also the president of the Society of Nuclear Medicine India Southern Chapter.
• He is also an authorised NABH assessor.
