• Dr. Nisha specialises in gynae oncology and is trained in advanced laparoscopic surgeries and robotic surgeries.
• Dr. Nisha is also trained in colposcopy and certified to train others in VIA, cervical biopsy and cryotherapy by Prevention International: No Cervical Cancer.
• Her key areas of interest include fertility-preserving surgeries, laparoscopic/robotic approach for gynaecological cancer, prevention and screening of cervical cancer.

• Dr. Nisha has received Mrs Indumathi Jhaveri Prize for best paper presentation on Gynaecological Malignancies at the 57th All India Congress of Obstetrics and Gynaecology held in Patna
• Dr. Nisha has received first prize for scientific poster presentation for Gynaecology theme of 24th KSOGA 2013, held in KIMS, Hubli
• She was the runner up in Yuva Fogsi Quiz – South Zone – conducted in Madurai in 2012.
