• Dr. Pampanagouda S K M, completed MS, General Surgery from Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute, Bengaluru and pursued his Super Specialisation M.Ch, Surgical Oncology from renowed Kidwai Memorial Institute of Oncology, Bengaluru. He is an American Board eligible Surgeon with training in ColoRectal Surgery at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer, New York. He also takes keen interest in Cancer Prevention strategies to educate the public like tobacco cessation, healthy lifestyle, the role of diet and the physical exercise in cancer prevention and encourage cancer screening programmes to detect cancers in the early stage in the society.
• Dr. Pampanagouda’s special interest lies in Breast Cancer management with Breast Conservative Surgeries, Breast reconstruction, Sentinel Lymph Node biopsies, Colorectal cancer, Gynaecologic Cancer Treatment by Cytoreductive surgery, Peritonectomy and Intraperitoneal Chemotherapy for Cancer Ovary, Management of Cancer Cervix and Endometrial Cancer, Head and Neck cancers including Oral cancer with reconstruction, Thyroid cancer and Salivary gland cancer, Neck Surgeries such as Radical, Modified and Selective neck dissections.
• Secondary interest lies in Thoracic cancers – Lung cancers and Esophageal cancers, Stomach cancer, Renal cancer, Urinary Bladder cancer etc.
• Oncoplasty to retain the cosmetic outcome to reduce the psychological impact, and to regain functional outcome following cancer surgery, and preventive oncosurgery.
