History

The clinical research program started at HCG group of hospitals in 2004 with observational studies. The first interventional clinical trial started at HCG Bharat Hospital and Institute of Oncology in 2007. We at HCG hospitals have successfully conducted over 300 clinical trials from phase I to IV for various solid tumours and hematologic malignancies. As we learn more about the biology of cancer through molecular diagnostic methods and genomic studies, we understand the importance of incorporating new emerging therapies in the treatment of cancers. Our patients can have early access to such treatments through the various clinical trials conducted at our centre. We are working towards bringing in more trials for various cancer types at our centres throughout India for the benefit of our patients.
